I wanted to close down Affinity Photo the other day but there was a message saying that there is a batch process going on and it needs to finish first. It took good half an hour. If this happens again, is there a way to quickly kill a process on Mac?
In a situation like this, I press Command + Spacebar (Spotlight search) and type ‘activity monitor’ and press Enter. Once Activity Monitor starts, you can choose which process you want to close down by clicking it. Then you need to click x icon to shut it down. I hope this will help.
